This software really does it for me.

seems its not much of a subject here at tpf, but at nikoncafe it's about 75 pages worth of sharing your topaz adjust images!

This looks more like Topaz Simplify, which gives more of an artistic look.

I thought there was hope for you.

Look around. There is some of this here from 6-12 months ago. Photos from London and Paris (not Paris, Texas; the big one) as I recall.

I used both "filters", and adjusted sliders, etc.

I am finding that the Topaz adjust is also useful for "everday" type of adjustments, to those pics that....
