Album Template Designs

This is a discussion on Album Template Designs within the Post Processing Central forums, part of the Photography Information category; I have Production Studio by Lab Prints, but was wondering what do you suggest for portraiture (child, family, etc.) templates ...

Album Template Designs - 03-28-2009, 12:19 AM

I have Production Studio by Lab Prints, but was wondering what do you suggest for portraiture (child, family, etc.) templates that can be used to facilitate album production? I have been wondering about Graphic Authority and am in interested in other thoughts. Thanks,

Jeff

Hi, Jeff
I have been using Graphic Authority for some time now and find the templets easy to use. Great product, They have free downloads to try and buy.

I am not familiar with Kubota's auto album. I will have to check it out. I am also looking at the onOne software Suite 4.5 (which includes PhotoFrame 4) as well, so let me know if anyone has thoughts on this stuff.

Kubota basically gives you lots of templates. You click on the template's name... then choose photo 1, 2, 3, 4... for that template and it places/resizes for you. i'm working on an albumnow that should be finished in a couple of days, i can post the jpg's for you when i'm done.

unlike the first album program kubota came out with (which only did square page templates), the latest version also does 11x14 rectangular templates (i fill the templates then crop them down to 8x10 for smaller albums). it seems like a lot of the album software is only for square pages.

The onOne suite is awesome. I get a lot of use out of the PhotoTools, FocalPoint and PhotoFrame programs. I've used GenuineFractals less but when I did the program worked great. The suite is well worth the money.
