By default on Mac OS X and Photoshop CS4, double clicking on a jpg will cause it to open in Photoshop.
If you want to open the jpg in another application, you can browse to the file in finder or on the desktop, right click (or control click), select "Open With" from the pop up menu, and choose an app (for example, Preview app).
If you choose "Other" on the menu, instead of selecting an app, you get a screen where you can choose an app to "Always Open" this file type. Sort of like setting your file type association in Windows. |
