Changing colors

This is a discussion on Changing colors within the Post Processing Central forums, part of the Photography Information category; So I have to change the blue stripe on the pants to white or red...any suggestions as to how to ...

So I have to change the blue stripe on the pants to white or red...any suggestions as to how to do this and make it look natural???

Here is a quick tweak, Image >Adjustment >Replace color, click the blue, then add any shades of blue. If you end up with unwanted areas changing, erase it with the History Brush.

do you mean like this? That was done with a mask and color range filter and then an Color adjustment layer to change the color.
