Can someone tell me if Aperture 2 changes the color on a raw file after importing them? I've noticed the whites are changing to gray or some even have a magenta tint.

I haven't noticed it, but you have me curious now.

I guess I should have asked my question correctly. In lightroom the colors are shifting and I was wondering if that happens in Aperture 2.

You don't notice it in Aperture, because it generally renders previews itself before it will display any images. Lightroom displays the built-in JPEG while it's rendering its own previews which is why you see the color shift as it shifts from the embedded JPEG to the rendered version.
