Finally finished taking one of the two rolls of the ISO 50 Fujichrome. So what are my options for getting the best digital scans from the film when I bring it in? I have not had slides done in years, and have to unglue those old kodak ones to get the whole frame scanned. Since I had the question, thought your answer might help some others here.

We have one set up on our Fuji Frontier 390 scanning size 1800x2700 (6x9 print size) that will get about 97 to 98 % of the 35mm frame for $12.99 per roll. Please note there is no digital ice with scans off the Frontier. A higher resolution would be a 3600x5400 (12x18 print size) at a price of $25.99. Scans from our Noritsu will lose 4% to 8% depending on the size of the scan. The scans are good but remember the the files are saved in base set up. The best scan will from the Nikon coolscan but it has a specified window cut out for film or we can scan all the image in the slide mount frame. The cost of this is $5.95 for 8x12 @ 300dpi.
