Mounting storyboards - 05-18-2009, 10:16 PM

For those that print and have done storyboards, how do you print them??

Do you mount them or frame them?

I have been doing some on masonite and works great it's just bit expensive. I wondering if there is a less cost effective mounting solution. How does
Matboard,2mm Styrene Board, or 1/4” Foamboard compare to masonite??

We print on index cards and mount them on foamcore display panels (for yearbook organization). Actually we split it up, academics gets on board, athletics another, etc. etc. - great for organization. It's all velcro dots since storyboards are bound to be rearranged.

For something more perm., I'd imagine mat board would work well, foam has a tendency to reflect damage (dents, bumps, gashes). Or acrylic plastic panels, you could mark on them with dry-erase markers for notes too.
