Reel to Reel, Slides

I am looking for some suggestions on who could help convert some old slides and reel to reel movie film to disc. My Dad has been looking and found one company in Dallas that wanted $1/slide to convert and orient the slides and one in Utah that charges 29 cents/slide. He is thinking of using the company in Utah, but would us someone else in Tx if he felt they were reputable and reasonable. We have not found anyone that is capable of converting the reel to reel. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

I posted without searching because I was hoping for some first hand knowledge of the quality of work of any potential prospect. Thanks for links.
