photobook printers? - 06-09-2009, 10:08 PM

i searched for "book" in this section and found one thread about photobooks, but i think my question is a little different....

i'm looking to get a wedding photobook printed. (wait for the question...)

i've used mypublisher several times before and i think they rock.

i've also looked at using mpix and adorama (i like adorama's price of $74 for 50 pages @ 8x12).

here's the question...
i would like a book printed that doesn't have any 'branding' for who printed the book. does anyone know of a printer that is similar to mypublisher that doesn't put a brand on their stuff?

mypublisher says they put a small imprint on the back of their leatherbound books. i didn't readily find anything about mpix or adorama, but i didn't look -that- hard either.

i basically just don't wait the bride being able to go back and look to see how much the book is vs how much i charged. not that i'm price gouging them or anything, i just don't want them to know.

The only book I have on hand was from Blurb. They put their imprint all over it.

Millers only sells to registered account holders, so their book prices are not available to the general public.

There might be a couple of reps at tonights FWPPA meeting and I'll ask them about their product.
or
You could come to the meeting and ask them yourself ??

Check out photoworks.com
I've used them and there is no imprint of their company on the books. At least not that I've noticed. :-)

ive only used blurb before, as it was nothing for anything fancy, but blurb gave me the option to put my OWN branding on it. which i did. not theirs.

and btw i got the mypublisher ones in, and they were good (to me, an amateur) quality and the leather was nice. there was just one embossment of their site on it, and they were doing 2 for 1 on the books when i ordered.
