Told you! I've only ordered once, but they've made a return customer out of me for sure.

This was a test. Of my original, not Mpix. If it sucked, it was mine. I coulda shoulda woulda ordered two. Now I have to pay shipping twice. No worries. I may go totally crazy and order a metallic print also. Frame the one I like best.

Amen to that! I ordered a 'regular' print, and a metallic print and there was just no comparison for me. The metallic blew the regular paper out of the water! I just hope that thinking holds true for every print and not just certain ones.

Holly, have fun with the Twilight Thingie. It would be fun to photograph the photographers. For us non-wedding types.

Wayne, come to the next NW Houston GTG and I'll bring some. Granted, they're trains...but you'll be able to see the impact. For a hint, a good gloss print will give you an idea of the potential, imho metallic = gloss on steroids....

Ken's metallics are a little unfair, once he runs that chrome thing he does and then prints metallic it's not really the same ;).

Although I have pro accounts at both Smugmug and Zenfilio and like both of them, MPIX printing from Zenfolio puts them over the top. Probably be dropping one this year. | | | |

Remember, I print mostly B&W and I am a huge fan of Moab entrada natural rag paper.
But. I have an open mind. Kinda. Sorta. Maybe.
As I recall, the metallic is the same price as the so-called real B&W paper.
