Help!!! I am trying to print a 4'x6' print on 20lb bond paper for a client. If I use the plain paper setting the colors are faded-When i use single wt matte I end up with two creases the lenght of the print (maybe suction and oversaturation of ink?) I am stuck with using this paper because of what the end use is. Any suggestions?

20lb bond paper is not going to ever make a good print using an inkjet. What exactly is the end use?

The print will be laid down over a barn wood frame and clear coated. The display is about mounted high over a stone fireplace. The frame is long slats of wood with 1/2" gaps to look like a door. the print will be adhered directly to the wood.

Is there anyway to use something like maybe 24lbs? Something made for printing like this. The 20lbs is going to be to think i'd think for inkjet. Maybe if you used a color laser or something long those lines.

You need something heavy, like Moab Entrada Natural 300. If you insist on using lightweight crap paper, the edges of the boards will show through and eventually crack the paper.

On second thought, I would mount Entrada 300 on acid free matt board and then attach the board to the wood.

Doors don't usually have 1/2" gaps between the boards. Otherwise, it's not a door it's a gate. If the boards have sharp corners, use some sandpaper to round over the edges.
