I've had the best luck using the included software.

does it give you the option to print border less after you select the paper size & type?

Should be in the print options. I use the Photoshop plugin Easy Photo Print Pro or something like that. Lets you pick border or no. I'm also on a mac. Never had any trouble with printing borderless.

This may or may not apply for your printer driver (I know it does for a HP Z3100 and a Epson)
- Under "page set-up" select your printer under "format for" and then select the paper size
- if borderless is an option for that size there will be a triangle to the right of the paper size indicating another menu and borderless will be there.

If your printer does not apear under "format for" you may have to load the correct driver for the printer. Should be available at the makers site.
