I didn't want to hi-jack the other printer thread, but I have been thinking about getting a new pritner as well and had a couple of questions you all might be able to help me with.
Currently, I have an HP multifunction (PSC 950) that I use for everything, but I'm not thrilled with the picture results. It seems like I get a lot of plain paper residue on my prints.
I'd like to get a printer that runs nothing but photo paper so I don't have to wory about getting paper residue on my prints. I'm looking at the Canon Pixma iP3000 or the Epson R200 and am having trouble deciding between the two.
I have a Canon D300 camera and am wondering how good a feature the pict bridge is. Have any of you use the pict bridge feature with your Canon cameras and Canon printer? If so, what are your opinions of this feature?
The appeal of the Epson is it has a bit higher resolution and can print CD's directly. I don't make a lot of cd's, but this would be a nice feature on occasion. I'd like opinions on this feature as well.
So, the main question is, would it be better to have the pict bridge feature, or slightly higher resolution with the ability to print cd's?
TIA |
