Epson R200 for $50

Was at Office Depot looking for a fax machine for the office. Just happened to check the price on the Epson R200 that I've beek looking at for a while. It's supposed to print amazing photos plus you can also print directly on printable CDs/DVDs. It's gotten almost univerally good reviews from what I've seen. Usual price is $99. Office Depot has a $50 mail-in rebate on it good until 6/18. Final price = $49. Couldn't resist. If you've been looking at this one at all, now is the time to grab it.

I have the R300 (courtesy of one of the members on this site!) and one thing to watch is the ink!!! Those cartridges get used up quick.

Check Sam's Club. When I bought my RX500 earlier this year, I popped into Sam's. They had ink pack bundles. I think I paid $50 for all 6 cartridges. Definitely cheaper than buying all of the individually. I haven't been to Sam's in a while so I don't know if they still have it. I would assume they did. I got mine at the Sam's on Cherry Lane in White Settlement, but others may have them.

Thanks for the tip, bought a r200 during my lunch hour.
Pretty funny, the printer with ink costs less than replacing all the ink.
I am now going to calibrate my monitor, use this new printer and hope to upgrade my results a whole bunch

Two reasons:
1) The ink that comes with the printer is usually only 1/2 full (teaser inks).
2) It's called "Gillette Marketing", as in the shavers. The initial kit (shaving handle with a couple of blades) is fairly cheap, they get you on the refills.

Also akin to how drug dealers work.
