Background of the Print

Yes, it is interesting. For my black and white prints, I often use dark grey matte board, but I usually test with the grey or white. Some need a light background, and some need dark. I've got two colors of grey, and two of white (one cream, one bright) on hand, so I just hold it to the photo and see which I like best. I haven't tried black yet.
