Depends on what you're using them for. I have personally used them before, namely from Cartridge World, and found them to run out quicker, and overall not be as bright and vibrant for any sort of printing other than text. If you do mostly text, then it'll save you a fair amount of money and should be just fine. If not, it really is more worthwhile to go with the real deal. You'll have a lot less problems with the printer reading the cartridge contacts as well.. I can't tell you how many refillable cartridges I've received full, that the printer recognizes as almost empty, even after cleaning the contacts. Quite frustrating.
As a side note, this isn't just me.. my parents own an Alphagraphics, and tried the refillable stuff for some of their printers, and switched back after only one set for these same reasons. |
