J.D. Wacker PPA Certified, M.Photog. M.EI Cr., IE API, F-WPPA, F-IPPA

Program:

"Creating Portraiture vs. Taking Pictures"

Are you tired of programs that try to wow you with pretty pictures and tours of their studio, but never tell how to do anything? This program is a "how to" program from start to finish.

It is very comprehensive: From posing and lighting demonstrations, to efficient workflow development, to sales and marketing strategy, to image enhancement, and finally to image delivery, J.D.Wacker, from Clintonville, Wisconsin will serve a several–course meal full of the information necessary for survival in the photographic marketplace.

Just imagine, if these techniques work in a small town of 4000 in rural Wisconsin, think what it will do for you! No canned video programs here! J.D. will not only tell you how to do it, he’ll demonstrate and help.

The Wacker family has been in business for four generations, started using digital in the early ‘90s and converted to 100% digital in 1998. Today, it is easier than ever for anyone (especially your potential clients) to take and make a picture. As a professional, it is your job to create a fine portrait worth a thousand words vs. taking a thousand worthless pictures! This program will give you the tools you need to make the difference! Plus the Wackers' CookbookTM with easy to follow instructions is ready to help. A theme throughout the program is to "Help you get your life back!"

From beginners to advanced photographers and artists, this program will have something for you. Whether it is time or money saving hints, a more efficient workflow, or a new enhancement technique, there will be something that you will be able to take home and start using and make money tomorrow!

Mark your calendar and make your plans Folks! This one is going to be good! I am posting it over two months in advance to allow you time to plan and work your schedules!

Fantastic speaker, very talented and worth the small fee that it costs.

Make your plans and come hear J.D. Wacker in October!

For anyone that hasn’t been to a Houston Guild meeting, do come. When you arrive go up to people and introduce yourself. I have been a PPGH member for many years and these are some of the best people you can ever meet and most of them have a lot of real time experience in the business of photography if you look at the membership on our web site ( www.ppgh.org ) you will find some of the major studios in Houston. I can tell you that my business would not be what it is if I were not a Guild member. You to can learn more and become a better photographer as a member of the PPGH. Hope to see more of the TPF members at every Guild meeting.
See you there,
Wayne

Great! Unfortunately, this is the one Meeting I will miss this year due to work. I have an all day assignment that I can't put off.

The print competition is only open to members of the guild. Guests are definitely allowed and encouraged to attend and watch. It is an excellent source of information and ways to improve your work.

All judges are CPP (Certified Professional Photographers) most having additional Craftsman, Fellowship and/or Masters degrees on top of that.

You will enjoy and benefit from J.D. tremendously.

Glad to hear Autumn! I hate that I won't be there to meet you and see JD present.

Be sure you let Chris (at the registration table) know you are from TPF and he will get someone to introduce you around.

Just though that I would bring this back up. This is going to be one of the best seminars of the year. You don't want to miss this one (sorry Coby). You will definitely get your moneys worth. When you sign in be sure to say hi to me and introduce yourself. I'll be the one behind the registration table.
