RadioPoppers work with Minolta \ Sony - 04-02-2008, 09:16 PM

Hey Kevin

I got to test out the RadioPoppers with my Minolta and Sony gear.

Worked great and it will easily mount ON the popup flash.

Here's what was tested.

Bodies:
Maxxum 7D
Sony A700

Flashes:
Minolta 5600HS(D) & Sony HVL-F56AM
Minolta 3600HS(D) Didn't have a Sony HVL-F36AM but it's the same as the 3600.

Outstanding! Thanks Kenneth. That's really good news. We'll certainly get to some more involved testing in the near future but that sure is encouraging.

I just sent a pm for the ordering instructions after Kenneth and I tested them last night on our Sony/Minolta system. I'll be more than happy to send you the results of my in depth testing after I get a set. Thanks for making the effort to get these to Abel, Mike and the others in order for us to make some initial assumptions.

Boy I was really wanting those poppers yesterday! I did a engagement shoot and my Nikon CLS kept miss firing even with line of sight. I had so many shots I would have gotten with that high speed sync. Any idea on a shipping date yet ?
