Thumbs up Thank You Kevin.... - 04-03-2008, 07:59 AM

Thank you Kevin for being kind enough to send us an Evaluation Set of the RadioPoppers!

We had a record turnout at last night's meetup having a total of 60 members/photographers on hand to try out the RadioPoppers first hand! Everyone had a blast!

Thanks!

I'll add this video in this thread as well....
---------------------------------------------------

Click Image For Time Lapse Video...

The video is HUGE. Just click it and give it a few minutes before playing... I need to learn how to compress it... but for my second time lapse attempt ever I think I did ok... hehe

Here's a smaller resolution version on Vimeo.com... images is not nearly as clear but it's good for those that are on slower connections etc.

thanks!

Saw the RP's in action last night and I am very impressed. Certainly lived up to my expectations and has now been added to my never ending "gear wish list". Thank you, Kevin!

Ditto Paulo. This has the potential to revolutionize portable lighting.

I'll be ordering mine soon - once I look at my finances.

Thank you Kevin for sending the evaluation RP's.
They worked as designed. I tried them with the Nikon SU-800 and SB-800 and they worked flawlessly!

After a little tweaking here and there the RP's held up to its range.

Hey Kevin

Thanks for loaning us the RadioPoppers. I think every one who's used the various wireless systems is thrilled about them.

Thanks for the test drive. I had problems getting them to work initially, but I don't know if it was a problem with the flashes having low batteries. Also, a couple of us tried to get 2 sets synched up so that 2 shooters could alternate shooting using a 2 light setup (2 transmitters sharing the same 2 receivers), but we couldn't make it work. I'm sure there's a way, we just didn't figure it out.

Thank you Kevin for letting us sample the RP. Thank you Abel for getting everyone together. It was really good to see everyone and some new faces from TPF.
