Coming to SA for family shoot - 11-09-2009, 12:57 AM

I'm heading down to San Antonio for the Rock-n-Roll 1/2 Marathon this weekend & have a photoshoot with a family who lives in NE San Antonio...Can anyone give me an idea of where to find some nature/open field type locations? I've seen the common locations; missions, mcnay, riverwalk, etc., but I'd prefer a more rustic park type setting...any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Since you are going to be on the NE side of town I would say look up Landa Park in New Braunfels. It is more rustic and open than most places.

+1 for the New Braunfels area...

Pretty much anything north of 1604 is open with rolling hills... (i.e. Hill Country)

You also might try the Stone Oak area near 1604 & 281
