I'm planning to go over there tomorrow, and I want to be there early. (I've never been there before)

Is it a good sunrise op? I'm planning to spend the morning exploring them.

I only recall Mission San Jose having a visitor center. The other missions are easily accessible at dawn. Mission San Jose may or may not have the gates to the mission open before the visitor center opens. Murph should be able to tell you. PM him if he doesn't chime in.

Well, I went out this morning, and visited a couple of them: Concepcion at sunrise and San Jose about 8.
I was able to get in San Jose before 9 :-)
They were very interesting. I was surprised, because when I went IN there was nobody there but me, but as I finished my tour, the place was hopping with a lot of tour groups (and tons of school kids)

After that, I went down to King William district. I really enjoyed the walking tour! Weird, I lived here for 2 years and never did any of the "touristy" things. I seriously enjoyed myself this morning. The sky sucked though -- nothing like a really nice old house with a blah gray sky. Looks like I'll be swapping out the skies in a lot of photos.

The sunrise was ho-hum this morning, and I forgot to pack my tripod (and wore the wrong shoes; didn't realize that till I was going through screening at the airport LOL)

Oh well, Here's what I ended up with:

With scattered thundershowers in the forecast the next three days our mission shoot and gtg the 23rd may be less than desired as well.
