Yes there is a fee there I think its 5 or 6 per person, I just get the annual pass that lets me bring any 4 people with me makes things cheaper for me.

I did an engagement shoot in the fall. All the Cyprus trees were different colors in order of the spectrum, it was amazing. I got some beautiful shots with the couple standing in front of the little lake with green, yellow, orange, and red cyprus behind them and reflected in the water. Everyone says it looks almost like a fake, muslin background, but it's not. the Botanicals are a great place too shoot. even the little houses and shacks they have are nice and there are large logs that almost look like photo props. Amazing locale.

Since I'm updating several of these - I thought I'd make the call and ask.

Only fee for photographers is the price of admisssion for each person they bring in.

Current rates are:
Quote:
Admission
$7 Adults
$4 Children (age 3 – 13)
$5 Senior Citizens (65 and over)
$5 Active Military personnel, Retirees, and Reservists (with current ID)
$5 Students (with current ID)

Hours of Operation:
9:00 am - 5:00 pm
(central standard time)
Open Year-Round
Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

Operated under the auspices of the City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department, the San Antonio Botanical Garden founded in 1980, encompasses 33 acres in the center of the city of San Antonio, 555 Funston @ North New Braunfels Avenue.
