Majestic Theatre - 11-29-2007, 09:18 AM

Anyone have any luck shooting in here- Majestic Theatre? Or know of any place similar to this venue? I have bridals coming up and the colors and dim lighting here work great for me, but it doesn't seem like they welcome photogs. :o(

Any suggestions?

A friend of mine spoke to the people there, and I believe you have to rent out the whole place, and it's quite expensive. Would be great to shoot there.

Hey - a bunch of us should rent it for the day!

Of course, no one really likes the dark quite as much as me, so maybe not. But is is so freakin perfect! The whole thing - the color, the darkness, the architecture!!!

I had one of my seniors parents check on it. $1,500 for 1/2 a day $3,000 for a whole day. Needless to say, we didn't shoot there!

Hey there is a Majestic clone in Downtown Abilene TX. It would be much cheaper to have the bride drive to you and shoot at the Paramount or whatever they call it now. If you get local TV involved you can probably shoot there for free.

Yes, it has a much nicer price - free. Hmmmm. Maybe the bride should come here.

Thanks for the suggestions.

So, split 3 ways for 1/2 a day that means we each pay about $500. I think we need a few more people. lol.
