LOCALE: San Antonio Parks (list of all city parks) - 06-13-2008, 10:16 AM

I know this has been touched on in a regular thread, but I thought I'd consolodate all of the information here in one place.

The San Antonio Park System includes:
Alamo Plaza, the River Walk, HemisFair Park, the Tower of the Americas, La Villita, Market Square, the Botanical Gardens, Brackenridge Park, Travis Park, Milam Park, Olmos Park, all city satellite parks (listed below)and the Japanese Tea Garden.

Permission must be obtained through the San Antonio Film Commission prior to filming on city-owned park property.

In general, parks require a film permit fee of $50, the River Walk and Alamo Plaza, a fee of $200.
In addition, some parks require a separate, additional reservation fee, handled directly through the City of San Antonio Community Link Centers.
Please use the PARKS PERMIT APPLICATION online.

Please call Janet Vasquez at 210-207-6777 for specific costs, requirements and permits.
