The Woodward House has been The Woman's Club of San Antonio since 1926. It’s old world warmth and charm lends itself to a romantic and unique setting for a small to medium sized wedding and/or reception.
The house is located at 1717 San Pedro Avenue and West French, close to downtown, and can accommodate up to 175 of your family and friends. The first and second floors of the house offer a variety of ways to design your rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, seated dinner or buffet and of course a dance if you prefer.
A piano is available on both floors for your musical accompaniment. The front doors on the ground floor open up into a large reception room with original tapestries and beautiful paneling all around. The eye immediately goes to the grand staircase where many a bride and groom have been photographed. A newly installed elevator assures accessibility.
