Hello everyone, I am still alive. Life has been super busy for a while and my camera was collecting dust for quite some time. Things are starting to slow down a bit, so I get to play some more. Plus, I got a new lens to play with! Woohoo! I purchased a Nikkor AF-S f/1.8 35mm prime. It has been a lot of fun to play with! Anyhow, here are a few shots I have taken with it so far. Tell me what you think. Still getting use to such shallow DOF with this lens wide open!

1. This is a picture of my old lady. The only light was from her laptop screen. I was playing around to see how far I could push this lens in low light.


2. This is just a random picture from a hotel room end table in San Francisco last weekend, the day after I got the lens.
