Hello, everyone.

Relatively new to the area, and I've got a question. I have a bridal scheduled for Saturday and was going to go to the McNay. However, as there is a slight chance of rain, my bride is a little worried. Being new to the area, I didn't know of any "backup" indoor locations and their associated fees.

Checked out the SA Locales above and wondered if anyone had shot at the SA Woman's Club or at the Koehler House. SAWC looks a little bit "old" instead of "modern vintage" (I think I just coined a new phrase). Suggestions on these two? Also, what about other old houses/bed and breakfasts/hotels. Any experience?

Thanks so much, TPF and San Antonio Gang. I always hope to be any assistance to anybody (so that I can ask for favors like this one!), so if you need anything from me personally, let me know.

Thanks,
Kenneth

The hotels downtown are pretty strict about shooting inside their lobbies and such. Now if you rented a room, they couldn't really tell you not to shoot in there. Just depends on your budget I guess.

...but don't expect to get much for free. Now if you can get in touch with some of the "mom & pop" owned bed and breakfasts you might have better luck.

My 'edit photos' says no; but because there is no "sometimes" option.

Yeah, I was afraid of the hotels.

I called three places yesterday and every one of them had a wedding tomorrow so they wouldn't let me shoot. Bridal got rescheduled in a couple of weeks from now. I've got to drive to Denton to shoot a wedding, and I'm making a detour to shoot the bridals in College Station on my way up.

However, it'd still be great to find an alternative location. I really enjoyed the Koehler house from their website, just wasn't available!

Thanks, Damon, for your information.
