BLM Wild Mustang Auction/Adoption - 02-09-2010, 09:51 PM

Bureau of Land Management Wild Mustang Adoption/Auction is going on this weekend in Sequin at the Fair Grounds. Around 70 horses

Thurs. Veiwing Late aftermoon 4pm - 6PM
Friday Morning: Auction for those horses that have more than one person wanting them. 8AM
Friday til 6PM Adoptions
Saturday AM 8 - noon Adoptions.

Bureau of Land Management website is very difficult to use. Old urls and lousy search. But I finally got the info. Times listed above are from my memory so check on the website.

I am going to try to get away from work early and drive out. Sequin is closer to work than my house and in the opposite direction. Failing that I may try Sat morn.
Don't know anything about this but it sounds cool.
David

Thanks for the information David. If time and weather permits, I might try to make it out there Friday morning.

They weren't groomed.... - 02-13-2010, 09:06 AM

but neat to see anyway.

Here's a few.
The trainer was working with this one. He was still skittish about being touched.

The feistiest of the bunch

The pretty one who deserved the back light treatment. Well, maybe not.

Very nice David!

Yeah, they're not going to be groomed, because they haven't been touched by man before.

I'm still working on mine. I'm trying some artsy stuff. Here's a couple I've done:
