Local Graffiti? - 02-13-2010, 09:49 AM

I am doing some Bridal Portraits on 01/28 and my Bride wants to do some shots with Graffiti. I know I can probably find a couple places along San Pedro near downtown, but I was hoping some of you had some suggestions for any nice spots currently, with a better idea of the exact location (haha).

Thanks!

I saw what looked like a good location just the other day. Like you say, it was on San Pedro near downtown but I'm not sure where exactly. I had been at San Pedro park. When I left, I hit San Pedro headed towards downtown. Just a little past SAC, on the right, was a building with the whole side covered with very colorful graffiti.

Normally I try an save locations like that in my GPS, but that day I was in a loaner car :/

There and on San Pedro just south of San Antonio College going south, on the right hand side. Also as soon as you cross the interstate look right and there is a wall/building with graffiti.

Texas can exist without the United States, but the United States, cannot, except at great peril, exist without Texas. Sam Houston.

YES the building Murph is talking about is really quite beautiful and VERY vivid. It is also walking distance from the Central Library(which has a beautiful mural of San Antonio inside on the first floor) and also the Southwest School of Art & Craft which has a georgeous campus to take photos on.
