Bored. Just bored. Unfortunately cannot do anything for the next week because I am the on call investigator. Spent the day setting up Victoria's new computer (Under $400 from Best Buy, a Compaq), since her school is doing power point, etc.

Decided to do something rather than sit on my hindquarters in the house, and play with Photoshop. SO I took the kids to eat at Blanco Cafe #2, thence to the McNay where we saw the photographs by the greats like Frederick Evans, then to get Ice Cream. The security at the McNay told me that all photographers now, including casual ones have to pay the $10 fee to photograph on the grounds. I was taking photos of the kids. It was pay the $10 or go into the museum and see the exhibits, and then photograph for free after paying admission-$13 for me.

Wow, last time I was there is was $20 to shoot on the grounds. I go elsewhere now. Still a pretty place though. How was the exhibit? I heard about it and wonder if it was any good.

VERY Nice exhibit. It is $20 if you shoot professionally, $10 if just a casual shooter like me. The exhibit was well worth my time. Quote:

I wish I could just leave the house! I had to lay my bike down Tuesday evening on Broadway because some idiot going the other way turned in front of me. They never stopped. End result is tons of road rash, broken ribs, and a bruised lung. Glad to be alive!
The good thing is that I am getting much needed rest, watching tons of Kelby videos, and getting some previous projects completed. I'll live vicariously through the photos you guys post until I am able to get back out!

Just straightened up the studio and now to mowing the lawn. Going to get groceries after the lawn stuff but plan on messing around in the studio if anyone wants to play. Send me a text if you want and I will give directions; 210-422-7435. I will probably start after dinner and go into late night. If you have a model (ie spouse or kid) it would help as I don't model well. LOL!
