Every time I think of shooting on the Guadalupe River I think about the two crazy photographers wading out in the river to shoot from a different view. Oh yeah that was me and you! People that view those photos still think those shots are very unique. I think it was from the camera shake since I was freezing!

I'd love to get into a shoot day like this. Right now my weekends are so full with homework it's almost impossible unless it's between semesters etc.

I'd love to pick some brains of you guys at som point.

Murph, I'm a sucker for pictures of missions... I will go to a mission any time someone suggests it... at the drop of a hat... But this last place is great, too!

Can't do it this month but I would seriously come to SA for a mission shoot... perhaps stay over night to get a good start... I want to do a trip to the cemeteries, too... Spent a day there scoping them out and would really like to go back. I have been talking to some folks here about a shooting expedition to SA.

I welcome comments on any picture I post... Thanks.

Nice one Murph, I really like the tonality. I could maybe do with a little less foreground and a little more sky (was this the 24 PC-E? Shifting the lens up would have worked nicely here to maintain perspective).

I'd like to do a weekend trip to SA some time to shoot the missions/cemeteries. Aside from visiting the Alamo when I was a kid, I've never been to any of the missions around there.

D700 and 24-120mm since I was on vacation, and was told to "leave the gear". here is another one: Note, these where shot with 14 bit RAW NEFs, which I have come to love for conversions.

June is booked. SWMBO keeps asking me when we can go to S.A. We'll make it happen. After it cools off.

1 camera. 1 lens. 1 sensor. We could play "Pass the Hasselblad Around" and use just 1 type of film.

The same as in above, just a landscape vs portrait mode. Cloned out a beach whale wearing violently purple shorts.
