One Camera, One Lens day trip - 05-30-2010, 11:37 AM

I took the old D2X and 16-85mm lens with me, and it was refreshing to not have any equipment worries, just me, the camera, and the Missions.

Mission San Jose

Nice series. What a great asset to live within a nice driving range of historical sites such as these.

OK, good work. I want to go to those places.

Now, 16-85 really isn't one lens. If/when I can meet you at these missions, we will really only use 1 camera and 1 lens. Fair?

True, but it is a single lens.

OK, but it IS one lens, I never took it off the camera. But when you get down here, I might just use the 24mm PC-E.

I grew up just blocks from the missions on the south side of town and never really went to them very often.
Great shots and great memories.

Murph, maybe one of these days we can meet up, or better yet, get a San Antonio group together for some shooting. I think our area is way overdue!

Yeah, thinking about the last weekend of the month possibly the 26th of June. Perhaps a Missions meetup, or something like that, or even Guadalupe River State Park.
