I used to love the view of downtown from the Coates Center @ Trinity University. Of course, the trees have grown quite a bit since I was a student, so haven't tried that downtown shot lately.

Good night shots in San Antonio require walking and driving around. I have found a few spots that I haven't shoot at yet but love the view, but due to there location I am not going to share as I could not send someone there with out going myself. All the shots below were taken around the river walk alamo area.
I normally park behind the Alamo at the Crockett Hotel is $10 but has security the other parking option is the River Center mall.

oh god, don't park at Rivercenter. You don't have to worry about thieves, because the parking attendant will rob you blind. Their prices have gotten quite ridiculous. You're better off at one of the other garages, or the flat rate parking lots. The garage in between the new Grand Hyatt and the Marriott is $8 all day I believe.
