Went to the Zoo this morning. Wow, it has come a long way and is well worth the trip if you haven't been out there in a year or so. Here are some I shot. Super Humid and Sticky though..

Hey Thanks! The Zoo never fails when I feel like shooting a little. All these were shot with the 70-200 and a 1.4x attached.. And that awesome 7D!

Bumping up the old-ish thread.
I was at the zoo last month, and shot the old Grizzly early in the morning. It was the first time I've SEEN a Grizzly in real life, I was excited!
I went back to shoot her again before leaving, but found a zookeepers sign instead. Seems she's pretty old, and they let her back into the keep when the temps get over 80. I feel lucky to have seen her when I did. I got some great shots of her.

I really like the blue bird (no idea what it is)

I'll be back in SA at the end of the week. I'm trying to decide where to go, what to shoot. Maybe Lackland Warrior Run and BMT graduation.

Thanks! I may do that. I only have tomorrow late afternoon and evening, then Thur morning/early afternoon and a few hours on Friday.
My job interferes with my fun on these trips LOL

Funny, I live in SA for a few years, but the only mission I saw was the Alamo. I need to find the others!
