The Art Institute of San Antonio - 08-08-2010, 04:51 PM

Hey guys, does anyone know anything about The Art Institute of SA? I know it's part of the larger institute of Houston. They offer a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Photography. Does anyone have a strong opinion of this degree? I'm thinking about taking classes there and getting that degree. I've already got my Associates so my core classes should be mostly out of the way.

I know the school is very new to SA. I've been to their open house and have an appointment with them in a few weeks. But I want to see if anyone has any opinions about it.

Thanks!

Stephen

IMHO, WAY to OVER PRICED!
they told me online classes would be $88,000!
I would say IMHO I would go to a community college or university & pay as you go....good luck!

Yep, Very Expensive. Cheaper to get a Masters at regular college.

I considered AI also until I found out the price. I am taking classes at UT Arlington (continuing education dept.). It's only a certificate but about $85,000 cheaper.

As an Art Institute of Houston alumni, I can personally say it's an extremely overpriced joke of a school.

Take some classes at SAC.

My 'edit photos' says no; but because there is no "sometimes" option.
