Not the impression I meant to convey. The first photoshop seminar I went to was presented by Ben Wilmore and while he did a good job, he didn't follow the material guide. The second was by Dave Cross and it was very good. In my opinion, Dave Cross does a better job presenting the material and sticking to the distributed guide.
Looking at the list of topics is why I'm still weighing whether or not to go.
I did learn from the seminar lead by Ben Wilmore, but I learned most of the info after the seminar while reviewing the instructional material. I think that was partly due to the material presented and my level of familiarity (or lack there of) with photoshop.
I had a much easier time with the material presented by Dave Cross. Perhaps it was because I had raised my level of photoshop knowledge to the point where it was easier to understand and grasp the material or perhaps it was the way Dave Cross presented the material.
Bottom line; I don't think anyone attending a seminar led by Dave Cross will be disappointed.
