If you have been waiting for a fireworks display photo op, Ft Sam Houston will be presenting that event Sunday night. Fort Sam Houston MWR From what I understand, the public is welcome. Randomly, they scan Driver ID cards as they do during the work days. They do want to see ID cards for everyone in the vehicle who has one. I do know that they will glance at your vehicle's license plates and registration sticker on the windshield as you approach the gate. Those had better be up-to-date as well as proof of auto insurance. If they ask why you are entering FSH, just don't look jumpy or suspicious, don't talk a lot, and please try to keep the word "shoot" out of your vocabulary. Have fun.
