Murph, I can't agree with you more! I've lived in TX for 20 years and had never been there before about a year ago... now I have been there 4 times and I'd happily go back more...

I like your B&W conversions - - I think that the architecture lends itself well to B&W.

I welcome comments on any picture I post... Thanks.

There is something about that place that just demands Black and White, and if I was still shooting film, then Large Format film. The larger the better.

Nice set Murph. I too prefer the B/W versions, with the possible exception of the "archer". Fair Park is a pretty neat place. The one time I was there it was July or August I think, so I know what you mean about the heat. Next time I go back will be when it's cooler.

I will chime in also. Nice set. There are a few subjects out there that demand color, but for the most part its B&W.

We went in early August. They had already started setting up for the fair.

As a matter of fact, we went back to the hotel to take a shower before we checked out. And that was for a early morning shoot!!!

I would imagine it is close to December before they get everything put up.

So that would leave Spring as the best time to go.

C&C always appreciated.
