San Antonio Group Model Shoot

Well it's solidified and we'll be doing a group shoot in San Antonio on Saturday the 16th of April. Location will be sent via email to those attending so do sign up if you want to come out and shoot. I think most of you have seen the positive comments about these shoots - the talent is wonderful and everyone gets along and just has fun and creates wonderful images.

Let me know if you wish to attend. The shoots are free - though you are responsible for giving copies (digital) of the images to the talent that you shoot.

Okay, plan on attending. I will send you the official information (hopefully) before this weekend is up. I still need to get the directions finalized, etc. We start at 9am and go until approx. noon or 1pm (mornings for better light).

If more photographers sign up, we'll add more talent also. The "theme" for the shoot is western (cowboy styles, props, etc.) and also "mock product." Should create for some fun and useful photos.

Okay, and yes it is important to try to sign up on the TM&T forum as it's a whole lot easier to keep track of everyone in a centralized place. Additionally, we use the email function on that forum to send the directions and other information prior to the shoot to those interested in attending. It sort of automates the process and saves some time (bringing together this many people, especially models and talent, can be very time consuming!).

We have a decent location selected in San Antonio. There are bathrooms and concessions for drinks and snacks there. Ample parking and some shaded areas in case it rains or is too sunny. We have one model who asked if she can bring an actual horse to the shoot - I'm checking on the location management now to see if that is possible... that would make for some great western shots!

So the shoot is free if you give copies to the talent? Are they there for free too just to get stuff for their portfolios? I'm confused as to how the whole thing works since I visited the website. It looked like you have to be a member?

Site membership is free.
The talent all comes out for free. It is good experience for them, they get sometimes great shots, and experience.
