TPF San Antonio Artificial lighting Class?????

OK!, we just had this past Sunday or pilot on Artificial lighting class in Houston, you can read the long posts previous to the class and after the class, even a quick video clip from one of the attendees who got a few clips by the end of the night on the "Houston" side. Pricing has been adjusted for the Houston Classes if you wish to drive there, otherwise I am planning to come to your area and host a class if there is enough interest/show of hands there before I start to book locations and Models for it.

Inrtro Class for your area Forum Members $100.00, None Forum Members $175.00, it is higher than the Houston one because of traveling there, etc. it will be about 5-6 hours long and it will include hand on, questions and answers during the class as we go from 1 topic to the next.

So, I would need a show of hands with interest and what days of the week or weekends will work better for you so I can have an Idea and then set a date for it and go from there, right now I am just meassuring interest, and if so, then we move forward as soon as we can schedule it...so now let me hear it!

I'm interested in attending the class. I can't really suggest a good time/date due to work commitments. Can you give me a rundown on the hardware and skill level requirements?

Yes! and thank you for your interest, It is an intense basic class, so obviously the less you know the more you learn, we will give you the basics and a bit of hands on to see thr results etc. as far as equipment, any equipment you have will be ok, we will have diferent lighting systems for you to learn, Power packs, self contain strobes, slaves, hotlights, etc. and all questions welcome. Preferably, if you have a D-SLR and a long lens the better, but not required, you can always use mine when it comes for time to shoot. you can view some of the results and a video clip on the Houston side under "Thanks Juancho", also, if there is not enough people in SA, there is a class forming in Dallas and Houston in June 19th and 26th. so far both are on Sundays.

Well, it looks like there is no interest here for the class, so I will cancel this post, if any one wants to attend, just go to the Dallas or Houston board to sign up in the one that is easier for you to attend, The Houston one is tentatively for the 12th of June and the Dallas one on the 26th of June.

Ken: Sorry the one here in SA did not take off, but you are welcome to attend the one in Houston or Dallas/FW if you are still interested. just go to the respective boards to sign up.

Hi All!

Well...here is a special timely offer...one of the photographers from Houston had made a deposit for the class this Sunday but he will not be able to attend (Nathan) so he is offering to pay part of your class if some one is willing to travel to Houston or if someone in Houston does not have the funds but want to go, so for the ones of you who can travel and want to attend the class will only cost you $40.00 instead of $100, that should cover your traveling expenses.
