If I am not mistaken that is where the tunnel that carries excess water from the San Antonio river comes out. It runs under down town to help prevent flooding in downtown. It is kind of ironic it starts just north west of the old Pearl brewery and comes out just north of Lone Star :)

Canon gear all the way around, just toss in a bunch of other accessories and you have an addiction.

We have a canal structure in Arizona to divert our water from the rivers and really do not have anything that rivals the riverwalk as such. Still we do have some structures that serve a similar purpose, and I find them fascinating. Thanks for sharing yours.
