University of the Incarnate Word at Christmas Time - 12-07-2008, 10:57 PM

Saturday myself and a fellow TPF'er shot the 2008 Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis at the University of the Incarnate Word. It was a great time and a big turn out. I started to head out and thought I would make a trip through the campus on my way out. I came across the George Washington Brackenridge Villa and knew I had to get a photo. I haven't shot at night in a long time and thought now would be a good time to brush up on my skills. Here is the shot with minimal post processing.

Very nice!

I was at the Jingle Bell run as well. My gf's sister was running so we figured it would be a good excuse to break out the cameras. You probably saw me walking around with my tripod slung over my shoulder (which i never used). I've been meaning to shoot the Incarnate Word lights, but I have to say I was kinda bummed that none of the buildings seem to have lights on them.

My 'edit photos' says no; but because there is no "sometimes" option.

It was great shooting with you on Saturday, Allen! It was a fun time.

Thanks for all your help on the Christmas lights shots - I definitely need more practice!
