Not many photos taken, but had a great trip. Went up 281 to 183 in Lampasas, thence to 36 in Rising Star, Texas. The trip was great, almost no traffic, beautiful day, the kids slept, and I got to stop in Cross Plains and see the Robert E. Howard house. Kept hearing: "Daddy! Not another photo at a road sign!" We did the photos of the kids at the town signs such as Rising Star, Dublin, Cross Plains, etc. Where the Great Man wrote Conan the Barbarian for Weird Tales magazine. Sounds like a great trip, Murph! Your kids sound just like mine at thier age. We went to the Grand Canyon, and the kept asking how many pictures I needed to take of that big hole in the ground. --------------------------- Best regards, Dave |
