Strobe Lighting Gel GTG?

Now that sounds like fun. If Allen will have us on Saturday the 9th for trial shoot at his newly remodeled place it would be great. If his schedule will not allow that, pm me and we can get together to get you some gels. Friday afternoon or night or Saturday is OK.
Schlitz can put in his two cents as well.

Well it appears we have concensus on Saturday May 9th. Anytime is OK with me. Schiltz is back in town, but Toby may not be able to make it. Allen, let us know what time you want the invasion to start. I splurged on new strobe equipment this week, so I am ready

Whoa, I don't know if I can handle a tri-purpose gtg. Have you hired a model to come out of the cake? For this kind of service I guess you get a break on the price of 2X6 gels. I'll work on just how big the discount will be and see you tomorrow.

Had a good time today. Thanks for getting the gels David. Here is a quick photo op with our new gels, Dave, and Hoku....

Allen, thanks for the opportunity to break in the new studio. I was on grip duty, Dave the model with white hair, Hoku the model with brown hair.and Allen was the shooter. Good team work to try out the gels we made. We got 10 each of 14 different colored gels for about $20.00. A DIY dream.

We gelled stobes into umbrellas, low and aimed up at the BG. There was a lot of spill, but this was just playing with the new stuff.

Hoku is a sweetheart and Daddy's little girl. As you can see, she has great ears that really come to attention when you give a little whistle. Great modelling skills. I don't think Dave's ears worked quite as well but he has a longer attention span.

wow I can't believe I missed this ... I need to come here more often.

I always had this idea in my head. Maybe one day y'all will do this again. One thing on my short list is to shoot some outdoor gel photography. I ran across a site years ago and bookmarked it ... here is the link http://lostamerica.com/roadside.html
