Special Item Scavenger Hunt: Natural Hearts

If I am doing this incorrectly, someone please let me know. This seems to be a dead section of the board, and I'd like for it to come back to life. :)

The theme for this scavenger hunt is: Natural Hearts

Nature has many ways to 'give us love'...go out there and find the hearts in nature, then share the love. :)

I'm trying to turn this over in my head and am coming up blank with what we need to shoot. It'll come to me though.
I've missed the hunts and am looking forward to this.

Two things though: How many pictures do we need and what is the deadline for taking/posting them?

I'm assuming that the old scoring rules apply. Let us know.

By 'natural hearts' what I mean is things in nature, either shaped like hearts, or a heart is on them. Like the puppy that was on the news with a heart-shaped spot on its back, or a plant...anything natural, not man-made or altered. Some of them will be obvious, others you might have to dig a bit to really see them.

I guess I'd better re-read the section to find out about the scoring rules, eh? haha

What if, for this first one, we don't do scores, but have everyone vote on their favorite pic, and the shooter of that pic chooses the next special item?

How about up to, but no more than, 5 pics each?

Deadline, Sunday, September 5th. This gives us a little better than a week to take and post.

Does all of this sound good to everyone?

Feel free to. These hunts have always been open to all. I had less than a dozen posts when I started with them. It's not like I have a lot now but..

It can be a challenge, that's for sure.

It doesn't have to be just one thing...several natural elements can work together to create the heart, too. Maybe that will make it a little easier, if anybody wants easier, that is. :)

Suzanne...nice catch....I have been looking...there was a cloud today...but I did not have any camera equipment with me....I will not let that happen again....
