New Scavenger Hunt-Run for Cancer!!

WELL...Suzanne said I won the "Hearts Of Nature" hunt, so I'm choosing the next hunt...Awesome!

I think I'll make a list (I looked at past hunts and cheated for ideas!), and since I'm training for a marathon (for cancer) in San Francisco, in October, I'm gearing it around that. Obviously, anything goes, since this list can be open to discussion!

1. Cancer
2. Fundraising
3. Running
5. Teams
6. Wine (California, of course!)
7. Sunshine
8. Blood
9. Volunteers
10. Coaches

The hunt goes from Sept 15th thru Sept 30, so good luck and have fun!

Hey Leah I will repost but I am going to try to get the rest of them and fit pictures to the rules specified in the sticky at the top of the thread...I am going hunting in central texas this weekend and hope to scavenge along the way..I will have that one back up monday

I can help make it easier. On October 31, the Undie 5K returns to Dallas, White Rock. It benefits the Colon Cancer Alliance.

I'm running with The Woodlands Team in Training group, for Leukemia, Lymphoma Society; this is my 3rd event with the group. It sure makes it easier to run 26.2 miles, and worth all the fundraising, when you see the cancer survivors at the finish line with signs thanking us for saving their lives! I'll dig up a shot from Alaska's run last year.

Leah, just to make sure that I'm understanding how it works with the list hunts...do we need to get a pic for each thing on the list, or just pick one and do what speaks to our hearts on that one?

This is my contribution for this hunt. Cancer to me means "death"...a big, mean, nasty death. I've lost friends, a friend's child, and my grandpa and many other relatives to it. I can't hear the "c" word without automatically feeling sadness and doom. I know He can heal, but sometimes He chooses to heal on the other side. This is what it means to me, the one left behind, on THIS side.
