#6 - TPF Scavenger Hunt July 3 - 15, 2007 - 07-03-2007, 03:44 PM

As we did on the last hunt this one will be a 2 week hunt also. It seems to give everyone that wants to shoot a chance seeing that the weather this time of the year changes on a hourly basis. This hunt begins now and photos have to be taken before midnight on July 15th. Post them by midnight on the 16th.

I think I will have the special item again be the American flag. Seeing that this hunt will run on either side of the 4th it just seems that it should still be included as the SPECIAL Item. It is always a special item to me but that is besides the point. Same as last hunt if the flag is there all the time you get an extra point, but you still need to have a flag in the photos.

Have fun shooting ! ! !

Here's the list.

1. Emergency
2. Keys
3. Team
4. Electronic
5. Multicolored
6. Mirror
7. Liquid
8. Switch(es) this can be several different things
9. The number 9
10. Stripes
11. Blades
12. Can't live without it
13. Stickers
14. Remote
15. Not allowed
16. Caution
17. Structure
18. a far
19. Layered
20. Ouch

Good luck to all. Have fun and lets try to get out and find some really kewl things to shoot.

Seeing that i can't win this one. I am still gonna play just to see if an get all 50 points. Good luck to all.

OK I'll start off with the first photos. Granted I can't win but I had fun at the Fire House getting most of them. When I choise the items I haddn't even thought about being able to gt them. I had to move a few of the trucks around to keep the flag in sight.
But here is my buch. Come on guys lets get those photos posted by Midnight tonight. That way we can hopefully get the new list on sooner..... Good luck to all....

OK come and get it ..... Who's gonna be our next winner. Bueler...Bueler has anyone seen Bueler.....

Well Now what do we do. We had 82 veiwers on this thread and no post. GUY's I CAN'T WIN. My sumbission was just for exibition. I guess I'll give it till in the morning and see if anyone wants to continue the hunts. I think its fun, gets you out thinking of different ways an item can be used. It's like 12:31am now. So I'll let the Official Grand PooBa of the contest make the final notice as to what we do in the morning. I had no intensions of makeing anyone mad, if I did I am sorry. This is just a game guys. and I play hard when I play. So again I am sorry if I upset someone ......

Sorry Calvin. I was looking forward to shooting your list. Some of the entries were sure to be challenging. Between extra shifts at work and insanity at home I wasn't able to get out to shoot. The empty position at work has been filled with a former employee so extra shifts won't be a problem any more and the insanity at home has been reduced from a raging tempest to a strong breeze.
I should be back for the next hunt.

Edited for additional comments.
I love some of the shots around the firehouse. I dispatch 15 departments and used to be part of one myself. Brings back good memories.

Question Where do we go from here? - 07-17-2007, 09:58 AM

O.K. All of us (except Calvin) for some reason or another didn't get our entries for this hunt. Do we extend this hunt for a little longer or do we get a new list (which brings up the question of who will make it and judge the entries)?

I say that two weeks was plenty of time. I do understand that WORK comes first in ALL of our lives and that this is just a game. My suggestion in to let The Grand PooBa Steelsun Brian pick the next list that way no one can get mad. He started it so when there is a no show he chooses.

I agree with the time issue.
Will be waiting on the new list or other instructions from the top.

Cool...the scavenger hunt was one of the reasons I bought a new P&S to carry back and forth to work...:)

Looking forward to the new list!

PM me if you have a lilst and if there is more then one list I'll throw a dart 20 times and see what we come up with. that way everyone has a chance at getting something in on the list ..... or ...... we can wait a another day on SteelSun da Grand Poohba to submit a list. I'm just comping at the bit to get going on the next hunt...
