Scavenger Hunt # 13

Howdy! It is Texas Summer time!!!! June usually means weddings and vacations so my scavenger hunt list is very family and vacation friendly, meaning it can mostly be done with your family helping in the fun too -- whether at or near your home or done by taking my list with you on an already planned vacation trip this month.---I am assuming your camera does go with you on a vacation trip!

When my list says something......(rest of the line) I mean it can be a someTHING or it can be someONE --- your choice.

Here is my Scavenger hunt list:
1. Something blue
2. Something borrowed
3. Something new
4. Something wet
5. Something sitting
6. Something standing
7. Something under water OR on top of water
8. Any water toy OR any kind of ball
9. Soap bubbles OR water bubbles
10. Water of any kind and a sunset in the same photo-(even a glass of water & sunset will do)
11. Any flower or plant
12. Any kind of ice cream

That's it! Only 12 items this time. Now how many of these items can you put in ONE photo while you are at a pool, lake or beach??
BTW, a kitchen sink with water or a bathtub with water will work too if you don't have any swimming pool access---so no excuses to not even try.

Photos can be taken any time during June 3-28, 2008. Please post your photos on or before Monday, June 30th, by midnight.

I'm in!! I've been dying to do one of these challenges. Lately I've been practicing with my camera and I think trying to do this scavenger hunt will really make me think and branch out! Great ideas for summer!

Will anyone be interested in doing this scavenger hunt if I extend the photo taking period????? How about counting photos taken from June 3 - July 29 or 30th?? That way if you took some of the photos already, but not all of them, the ones you took can still count for this scavenger hunt. Have photos posted on or before JULY 31st.

Thanks for extending the deadline. I was ready to jump in on this one then one of my sons got sick and passed. I haven't taken a single picture in three weeks and this will be a good excuse to get out and back into it.

Me, too! Me, too ! I want to play! Thanks for extending the deadline! I already had some taken ( worked out well for me that my kids had a splash party for their birthday! )
I will see what else I can come up with. Do we post them all at the same time or can we post a few and come back and add as we find stuff?

In the prior hunts, each person posted all their photos in one post OR in two posts in a row if they all did not fit in one.

Okey dokey - Looks like I am the first to post!

I tried to do as many as I could in as few photos as I could. so I found 9 of the 12 items in 3 photos (and I went a little crazy on the selective coloring - so forgive me)....

photo #1 - My summer hobby - Crochet
-the yarn is blue - even though my husband says it doesn't look blue - it is (item 1)
-this hobby is brand new to me (item 3)
-the yarn is in a ball (item 8)

photo #2 - This summer biggest movie hit - Guess who...
-The man in black is standing (item 6)
-His feet are under the water (item 7)
-The water is soapy and has bubbles (item 9)
-He is obviously wet - since i dropped several times (Item 4)

photo #3 - Our summer guest - My parents dog
-she is borrowed seeing as we use her to entertain our dog and we will have to give her back in a week or so (item 2)
-she was sitting while i took the photo (item 5)

And that's my entry If I come across items 10, 11 and 12 before the 30th - I'll post those too.
