Sigma 24-70 f2.8 IF EX DG HSM - 02-15-2011, 09:21 AM

Some pics in italy I took with this lens on a D700 enjoy... The last is of my wife handheld in the dark and just using the candle as light source I like it alot turned out really good I think.. Last one I swear but I had to show what this lens can do..This was taking in a wine cellar in and old castle with basically no light handheld in the dark dark wide open...

I have the non-HSM version and although there are a few tiny issues that keep it from being a perfect lens, it is still outstanding.

The first picture looks a little too HDRish to me, the second is beautiful. Must have been a wonderful trip!

Yea I see what you mean about the first one.. and yes it was a once in a lifetime trip and we had a blast. It rained the first two days we were in vinice didnt get much pics. The last day in vinice was perfect weather and as we were leaving I got this shot right before we got on the taxi you see on the left hand corner.
