Sigma 105 f/2.8 EX Macro - 07-25-2008, 05:54 PM

Sigma 105 f/2.8 EX Macro

When posting photos, please give any and all information in regards to the photo that you can. This extra information will give more information about how the photo was taken and with what camera body.

Example:

Canon 20d : @105mm : 1/125th : f8.0 : 100 ISO : M Mode : +-0 Exp Comp

Thanks

NOTE: My copy is the non-DG and I am not sure if an owner of the DG version might want to make their own thread. If we do have two threads, PM me and I'll alter my thread title to specifically say non-DG.

I simply love this lens. It seldom leaves my camera, and I use it for macro, family shots, and everything else.

Wonderful shots. I have the same lens, but my photos don't turn out as nice. I LOVE spiders, by the way (call myself a spider naturalist). That crab spider above is really pretty.

Sheryl, are you open to ID some spiders?

I really like the first shot of the leaves. Every fall I go out and shoot leaves but none of them with this clarity. Must be the lens.

I have the EX DG version of the Sigma 105mm f/2.8 lens. It also seldom leaves my camera:

Shot with: Olympus E-500 @105mm f/8 at 1/200 with a -.7 EV using ISO 100 and Av Mode
